So you still have to jack up a wheel to rotate the prop,therefore no special tool needed,socket set will do?
Am i right or just slow?

they're great on wind or electric. two spanners is as quick if you're laid on yer back.

who told you you have to lift the wheel up to rotate the prop ?

Im always on my back,disco1,think i will stick with me spanners!
Is that thing made for a drill?

I have two deep offset short ring spanners, that are great for prop nuts. Only had to move landy once to allow full access to all 8bolts. When removing the rear prop on the 110.

It's a 9/16ths (14mm) socket on a thin necked extension bar But all one piece. you just put a ratchet/windy gun/impact driver on the other end. The idea is it'll fit on the bolt head regardless of the position they're in.

but it doesn't. and by the time you've got the windy gun etc out you'd be under it and have it undone with two spanners.

I have just ordered one,i reckon it aint gonna work,when that prop is in the wrong place things get pretty tight.

I is sticking to me 2 spanners. They has always worked for me.. Can't be doing with these noo gadgets

With me old fashioned spanners!

I got the proper tool for this and not used it. Found it more trouble than it 's worth. It's Half inch drive I ordered 1/4 inch came wrong. So just use 1/4 socket. Yea it's a pain havin to keep turning the prop but it works.

I just use a spanner and a 1/2" ratchet, 10" extension and 14mm socket…….which is essentially what they're charing you for :doh: didn't have to turn the prop either

I will stick to using a regular 14mm ring spanner and me 14mm rachet spanner makes the job easy enough
