looking for advise on where to pick up a positive feed for the daytime lights when the ignition is on and engine running? I have two skinny wires located on the back of the alternator that go to 12V but do not want to draw on them if they are part of an ecu circuit ........
open to suggestions cheers

In fact don't touch any wires unless you really know what you are doing. On the P38 daytime running lights can be activated in the BECM, I suspect the L322 will have the same feature, then you would just have to substitute the parking bulbs.

yes you can enable the running lights using testbook or faultmate.

there are also plenty of places to pick up a switched ignition live that you could use to run the lights but you shouldnt touch anything unless you know what your up to ! lol

I thought of doing this sort of idea when i get mine. putting some white LED's under the headlights. probably about 7 or 8 of them each side. chavy i know but i think it might look ok :confused::confused:

To be honest the amount of cars at the moment fitting these chavy lights is unreal, like to vans, people carriers, some look real crap IMO !

Why not do It properly. I was thinking of converting the front fogs into DRL's by fittings led h7 lamps in them and wiring them on with the ignition

Saying that I have already fitted LED side lights to mine which look good, I might as well just turn on the DLR feature with textbook and use them !
