I appreciate that it is not very authentic to suggest such a thing but has anyone fitted air con to a Series Land Rover? I am seriously considering buying one as a daily driver but looking forward to the summer months would be interested to know if it possible or if there is a company that does the installation.

Apologies if it is a daft question.

I know how it sounds but I often see clients and the last thing I need is to rock up for a pitch all hot and sweaty, not good.

You aint driven one then....Theres gaps bleedin everywhere to let drafts through:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

 :D:D thers the obvious air supply, windows, air vents, blower, then if yer were to seal all these options up theres still at least ten mystery drafts that come thru at gale force !

yer askin the wrong question really? the problem is getting them warm !

I wouldn't suggest fitting air con to a Series. The vents, of course, are a great way of keeping cool, and the sliding windows pretty much project cool air into your face. I would suggest that you should save money on buying an A/C unit, and buy a powerful heater for the winter instead.

go get one and then solve the problems you find. or the ones that you dont need to find the ones that just stick out at you. you wont find it to hot but expect to turn up to meat a client one day in a taxi. thats ok though. at least you got there even if you are covered in oil and not totally focused on the job in hand but confused as to why your landy stopped working at the sight of a hot lollypop lady. the to can not be connected but........
