first questions of many lol!!

first hello everyone !!

when i put my dse in gear its a manual by the way it says select neutral but if i drive off and restart buy revving the engine and turning the key off and on or bump start it dissapears and dash is normal again any one any ideas ?

my fog light button on the dash is lighting up but no foglights on ?

your fog lights may need your becm opening to work your spots..

Check the condition of the battery, as a weak battery will lead to allsorts of odd problems...

Usuallu when it says select neutral, this indicates the High-Low ratio transfer is still in process and you should select neutral until the transfer has occured.

If you havn't selected a ratio change, it could indicate a problem with the transfer motor - a small electric motor that changes the ratios in the transfer box - has gone U/S, as it is well documented that this little motor can burn out....

Do a search on here for transfer motor and have a read.....

If the motor is ok, I would consider plugging into a diagnostic device, and see if the Transfer Box ECU is showing any faults.
