Hi guys
I have a discovery 2 2003 with 162k on the clock
Although it is running sweet as a nut all be it needing a new belt due to squeaking. I plugged it into a snap on tool and it threw up these codes. I had the codes cleared approx 200miles ago so are all recent.

23 fuel temp sensor circuit
14 ambient pressure circuit fault
83 high speed crank synchronisation lost fault
87 noisy crank signal detected
96 road speed missing fault
112 injector 2 peak charge long
136 injector 2 open circuit detected

Any help coming to the bottom of these problems would be appreciated and i will continue to browse the net for a any ideas.

Many thanks
Scott

HI, afaik the snap-on works ok with Lucas Td5 management so first of all check for oil in the ECU red plug cos all those faults(maybe except nr 5) can be due to the oil ingress there which works as an isolator...all the involved sensor's inputs are in the red plug

if it's automatic fault nr.5 can be there too due to the CAN but if it's manual that code can be neglected for now as long as no 3 amigos

if you find oil there you just think it runs sweet...you'll see what "sweet" means after you replaced the injector loom
