Right, next problem I have with the Discovery is....

when driving and pulling up to a junction, once you stop and sit waiting to pull out/away the revs dont immediately drop to normal idle speed. It will rev at 2k then step down to about 1500, then 1200 then to idle. It does this every time and takes about 20 seconds or so from stopping till its idling properly. Its very similar on both petrol and gas, give or take a few rpm.

Has anyone heard of the V8 doing this or had experience of this happening??

I have checked the MAF, TPS, CTS and IAC valve and all are bang on with Autodata figures. I have sprayed WD40 at all inlet joints and anywhere else to try to locate any air leaks and found nothing

Little video of it doing it.... lower revs this time but sometimes can start off as much as 2200rpm
