Failed MOT(Be rude not to)

Rangie went in for MOT today and failed.

Had to abandon test as fuel was spraying out.

Was asked had I noticed any increase in fuel consumption?

"no not really it drinks **** loads anyway"

Needs welding to NSF and a new steering arm(test was not fully complete due to fuel spray issue).

Just need a carelessly thrown ciggie and problem solved then

Datatek..Diesel is for container ships and tractors

and yours isnt as fast as a tractor

Can you not weld the leaking petrol pipe up ??? Or fit a "T" piece and divert the leak back to the tank ???

I reckon my P38 would give you gas guzzling 60's Buick based liner slipping dog a run for your money and like the duracell ad mine would still be going long after your tank ran dry

Well the V8s do have a 100 litre tank as opposed to the 90 litre tank in the diesel. Must mean something.

Only if it is being drawn on. A fag that isn't being puffed does not burn hot enough to ignite petrol fumes, the flash point is too high. You can actually stub a fag out in a cup full of petrol. Seen it done.

havnt had chance to look meself yet. Tester got an eye full so presume its after the pump.

Cheers for the offer mate.

Need to weigh up the cost of getting it done up here(bit more)

or getting it to yours with the fuel costs and the leak

MOT runs out 4days time.

He had to cut the test short by 30mins to to fuel "issue"
