Hi all, I've just purchased a Freelander van to go fishing and for work, fair play, she's mint apart from some nasty chips on drivers door (Which I'm going to respray shortly) And the rear canopy is very faded. Being a Black vehicle,it's very noticable.
Is there anything I can do to recondition this canopy or would it be better to look for a better conditioned one and replace it?
Hope someone can help:)

heres an idea is it possible for you to vinyl wrap the rear roof section

since you can wrap a car maybe worth a go. no more fading

You'll get several answers on this mate, I've found wd40 or autoglym bumper and trim gel work best for me.
I did wonder about this, but thought I'd ask first. Thanks mate,I'll give it a go. I've got a tub of armourall somewhere, that I do my car interior with, could that be tried on exterior parts too?

You could try it, but I don't think it would be hard wearing enough for external use. I do like Matt's idea of doing a vinyl wrap, might be a bit pricey though.
