Afternoon,
My mrs is experiencing power loss on her Disco 2 (TD5 Facelift). I replaced the injector harness last year due to a different unrelated problem. I've unplugged the MAF sensor but the issue persists.
I've sprayed the wastegate arm to make sure it's opening too.
The problem appears to happen when the engine is warm/hot, meaning if I go out tomorrow morning it won't have the problem.
It does still have the EGR fitted so I'm beginning to wonder if it's that but am not sure if there's anything else I should check before ordering a blank kit?
The car appears to drive ok otherwise with the turbo spooling up at the rights revs. I'm also getting it past 3000 rpm so have ruled out it being the fuel pump (pushed its likelihood lower down the list).
