I think the advantage of the janspeed over headman is that they sell a y piece that mates up to the mid section flange of the existing exhaust (or at least it did on my normal wheelbase 3.9 rrc) I had a weld fail on one of the primaries. I blamed it on my thermal wrapping as they were quite scabby when I unwrapped them, but could also have been poor weld or thermal expansion.Off to look at headman headers.
They didn't have bracing at the exhaust ports unlike headman.
I must be a bit behind the times on heads. They seem to have gone up in price quite a bit since I bought mine. V8 developments can port and rebuild your existing heads for £500. No good if you're on a budget. They also work on inlets. iirc my heads are 10 bolt from v8 developments and my inlet was done by Steve Lundlack.
