Exhaust manifold studs.

So I go to remove the first exhaust pipe from the manifold on my series 2a petrol. And you can guess what happened, every single one sheared off.

Are there special studs I can replace them with that won't anneal and soften like the old mild steel 8.8's?

What I mean is there must be some modern ones of higher tensile strength that won't soften with the heat.

I know it's no good to you now, but I usually try and split the nuts off those sorts of things if I can, because trying to unscrew them leads to all sorts of suffering. I find it very hard to drill the stumps out of the casting because they're often a lot harder than my drills.
