I had to put a refurbished 2.5NA in my Landy when she shot craps in Romania, runs like a charm now, the old engine is in a military transit box and I want to ship it back to the UK for a rebuild, does anyone know any reputable engine rebuilders, would like to have it redone as a spare to keep or sell, when I ship my Landy back to the states in a few months.

Cheers...

I knew it would probably be you.... thanks again, have been doing work on the 90, new paint job, and those goodies you sent me came in handy, cheers again. I will contact them. Did you ever use that chequer plate you got from my last order to fill those holes?

Much obliged....

My 1944 A27M Cromwell MK IV tank, which was converted to a Charioteer in the 50's (around 200 were converted as stop gap vehicles for the cold war, upgraded turret with 20 pounder, used as a Tank Destroyer). This was then sold to Jordan, used by them and sold to the Lebanese and captured by the Israelis during the 6 day war, and then was sold to a museum in the UK years later, said museum was closing. It will be converted back into its original configuration, can do some serious greenlaning with this... 150 gallons of fuel, around $1000 USD to fill the fuel tanks with an average of 1-2 MPG off road performance, 32MPH at 27 tons ohhh can't wait. This will be the ultimate Landy recovery vehicle for those that get stuck! Just need to make sure I don't rip the chassis apart! I also have a Daimler Dingo MKII and a Humber Scout Car MK II, I will be looking at building another Landy in the year or so for an expedition, will probably do a nice LHD 110 200TDI kitted out.. Sent you a PM.

Lance

Well mate it will be in the UK for a year to 1.5 for its restoration, my mate has the green one, both live in Manchester, if you are going to the W&P show, I can get you in to crew or drive his, when mine is done, you are more than welcome to take it for a spin!

Is that suppose to be Landy Zoner tank or Loser Tank :)

Hey it will be green, can crush some non-Landy's if we want, can always keep the rift raft away from the good areas, sorry fellows this area is closed today for real 4x4's..

Ahhh gotcha, I tried that to get my Landy back from Romania, but couldn't find anyone to help or any good service to tow it all the way back to the UK, I was gonna put in a 200 TDI in the UK, but ended up just having an engine shipped there, figured it would be easier instead of doing the mods. But hey I am up to local rescues, will have to get some yellow lights, additional tow cables and lots of gas.

You could always add a wrecker style tank or truck to your collection!
