this might sound a little crazy
but at the minute i am currently at college working in motor vehicles
i have basic knoledge on how an engine works, but would like to further improve my understanding on how an engine works, i learn best by doing things my self and hands on
i have been offered a running 2.25 petrol out of a series 2a for £50
and my plan is to buy it and fully strip it, then put it all back together, doing this a couple of times will certainly improve my understanding of one, and when i eventually get a series myself i won't have any trouble repairing the engine ect.
not including the intial £50 to get the engine,
roughly how much should it cost to do a basic rebuild of the engine, just replacing the parts that are worn ect?
thanks to any good replies
