hi all any electrikery people out there .just found some small dash lights .the ones you drill a hole for and just push them in .i would like to wire them up to the indicators .due to the fact the one on the stork dont work . now would i wire them up to the flasher unit or try and wire them up to the indictor arm .have made a ally panel for the dash in the center above the speedo .just not sure how to wire them cheers

ok thanks. thats straight of the steering colum wires then thanks for that . will give it a go .

no mate havent checked i know its just behind the speedo .wouldnt know if its the right one or not but it works just got no visual in the cab so thougth about fitting in some small lights .just so i know there working ,cant allways hear it clicking due to all the rattles and engine noise . cheers

series vehicles have simple 2 pin flasher that work on positive feed to switch, other functions like the lights or dash repeaters come from after switch ,not from more complicated relays as fitted to later vehicles ,i thought you were fairly knowledgably about these things and abbreviated explanation would suffice

And would it suffice for the OP or any other newby?

Not had a series for a few years so forgot about only 2 pin relay, but have seen 4 pin relays in place of 5 pin relays causing no dash signal light.

i know, but it isnt easy to explain for me do you write full explanation which could be percieved as treating others to suck eggs ,or concise

hi thanks for the help just fitted indicator warning lights up .took feed from the stork they both work now got to sort the rest of the dash lights . so the clocks light up .there is a switch that goes to the clock bulbs so got to check that out when i get time cheers
