egr valve

i have a 300tdi with the egr valve still connected. i know a lot of people diss-connect these, but what benefits will i get from doing this

1995 300tdi
110000 miles
runs great

so is it worth diss-connect it or just run it as it is

yes if you de-cat at the same time it will make a huge difference and buy a kit they cost less than £15 for one with a new top hose
