i had a 2000 reg one, no water in EGR, think you are mixing it up with the export 300
year 2000 has the 10p engine though right? 10p engine has non water cooled egr, thats my point!

well now got a 2004 pursuit, no water cooled egr on that either, well wasn't when i removed it!!
ok thanks thats interesting so when did they actually fit the water cooled one? its in the rave and the haynes manual but no metion of what years its fitted

i havent a clue, i know they are on the exported or re imported/jap 300's,
but why do you ask? have you a problem with 1?

I want to buy a 2004 landmark td5 but I was suspicious of it as it has the eairlier egr fitted and acording to the link above thats a 1998-2001 engine fitment so I was wondering if the disco im looking at has had a replacement engine and an earlier one at that

wouldn't of thought so, all what i looked at had ordinary egr's on, maybe it was an export model on the pic that had the water cooled egr, as there parts would be sold world wide! most standard egr blanking kits are the same, if you get one i would recomend taking it off and putting a blanking kit on,
