Eddie Gold Stars. Singvogel

On an RC Helicopter forum I belong to there is such a thing as an Eddie Gold Star.

Eddie awards Gold Stars to those members who put themselves out and go that extra mile for other members. Bit like an MBE but more valuable. Other forum users nominate and Eddie decides.

Now...as a complete newbie to Land Rovers, having had a Disco and now a Freelander I needed some serious advice as to mpg and how to improve it.

You can get it Remapped for better economic averages . But a a loss to power the choice is yours.

I prefer the current reward scheme whereby I do someone a favour and get rewarded by a portion of Chippies.

well.... work ive done......change windscreen wipers, headlight bulb, oil, water checks, air in tyres, replaced broken wing mirror, new fuel filter..... soooo whats ya think??

I'm just bemused by this.

I just like to share info.

By the time you've done the things I've done in my time, you tend to have seen most car problems.

But cars are getting ever more complex electronically and there are quite a few things I would no longer tackle, but prefer to leave to an expert who deals with that type of thing on a regular basis.

I'll have a go at most things - but it's important to know your limitations too.
