The Freelander will not fire up, faulty ECU. Is it not possible to send the new ECU to him to code it in?

Are you sure it's the ECU? It's extremely unusual for them to fail. They are designed to be pretty indestructible.

Fob is not everything. ECM must be paired with CCU too or EWS3D in Td4
