There is LPG Conversion kit for Range Rover P38 4.0/4.6 with GEMS on Ebay, supplied by 4-Tech.co.uk priced at £695.
Has anyone fitted one?
If so how easy was it to fit and were there any problems after?
I've seen another kit from Rpi which is nearly twice as expensive. Is it worth the extra money?

personally that is old technology basically you have a ring of a gas cooker blasting down the air intake trying to deliver all the gas to 8 cylinders personally i would rather run on petrol as there cannot be the control like a multipoint system. I run a prins sequential injection LPG system(not cheap but imho the best) and i would let anybody drive my car and let them guess if it was running petrol or gas as it runs perfectly on either i doubt a cooker ring would be that good. (i do not have any connection with any for of LPG company ) a good LPG system rocks!

dont know about that other kit, but, i've heard lots of good stuff about RPI, plus if you get it fitted, you get checks and then an service and stuff included i belive. its better getting it installed proper off supplier cos they'll know what to do anyway

You have to fit it correctly and then get a certificate for it (about £50ish i think) they will check it over for you, making sure its fitted well and not leaking, then inform your insurance, and send a copy of the cert off to them

Tiz the law me thinks ??

Yeh gotta be checked by an expert against leaks/emissions, and change over stuff. Make sure it aint gonna backfire or struggle/cause stress. Not sure about the cost though. Then insurance has to be told, and send the, the certif. I think if your on normal insurance companys some might give you discount too

forget any single point system for a p38 it will never be right and more trouble than its worth spend a few extra quid and buy from these people where at the very least you will have a good back up Blaze.
