Yesterday my L322 EAS seemed to loose pressure after washing it the front left side dropped with the sound of expelling air it showed no faults but wouldn't raise back up. After 20 or 30 minutes it finally re inflated and raised back to normal height. I gave it a run around after 4 or 5 miles the front deflated and I got two faults indicated Air Suspension inactive & Auto Leveling inactive.
After a quick inspection I can feel the front left is completely deflated.
Any advice or ideas about the problem would be greatly appreciated.

By failed Air strut do you mean the actual air bag needs replacing??
Just after the initial deflating episode it did once reinflate which made me think it was something else. Sorry for my ignorance regarding air strut.

If I get a fault tester plugged in do you know if it will give me an accurate answer on what needs replacing etc
And thanks for the advice BTW.

It's the whole strut on the L322 I believe. The leaks open and close where the bag folds under so they can re-inflate for a while.

The compressor will have been working overtime to keep the strutt inflated then shut down when it overheated hence why the bag went up then back down

Cheers guys from what I can see its only 6 or 8 bolts to swap one out so depending on the weather might do it myself.
Much appreciate the advise and help

Island 4x4 have a Delphi one for £184 + vat or Dunlop for £210 + vat
Any advice on supplier can only guess Dunlop would be better firm but never know really unless you've experience of the parts?

delphi ones are what the genuine ones are. just LR re brand them.

they must be on special offer.

delphi ones are usually more money.

id change both front struts at once. the other will probably need doing soon.
