hi people's, can anyone help,,
was happily driving along when i hit a really bad pot hole,, within 30 seconds the message" eas fault " flashed up followed by " slow, maximum 35mph " ,, as well as all 4 orange dash height indicator lights remained on all together !!,, got the fault cleared today " front air valve stuck" was the diagnosis when it was plugged in on the diagnostics,, all faults cleared now but it will not lift or adjust with the dash controls,, the orange flashing height indicator light just flashes as if its trying to lift as normal,, the air pump / compressor is working fine and has been tested,, any ideas ? ? ?,,

If as you say the compressor is working and producing good air i think you should make an effort to find out where it's going. Because it ain't into the air reciever. Either the compressor is not making air or the diaphragm valve is duff and it's leaking out of the exhaust or you have a big leak in a bag.

You haven't got a door or tailgate or even the bonnet open when you're trying the suspension have you?
Is the interior light switching off as you close the doors?
An open door or tailgate, or if the car believes that anything is open, it will freeze the suspension.
There's some debate over whether the bonnet will affect this but better safe than sorry.

yeah thanks, but checked all that and made sure everything was closed,, still just sits motionless,, all was fine until i hit a damn awful hole in the road,, i am wondering if its produced a leak somewhere,, the pump and the entire system was all 100% up till that point, cleared the code and now it just doesnt respond,,

Have you tried pressurising it first?
I let it idle with the driver door open for 5 mins, making sure the compressor is running at the time (or force it). If the compressor is not running, then sounds like my problem, if it is it should fill the air reservoir up in 5 mins. Then close the door and see if it lifts.
I think my issue is the compressor is on the way out.

With the fault cleared, no message on the dash and you say that the compressor is running then, as Wammers said, you'll have to track the air and find out where it's going.
The compressor might be running, is it producing air or has the exhaust diaphram gone?
Then, using the software to force the compressor to run, or ignition on but engine off, go listening for an air leak. With the original fault being related to the front I'd start there.
