Hi,
Does anyone know what the factory height settings are for the p38?
I have checked the settings on mine and they are all over the place, looked in Rave and it doesnt have the info either.

standard height 100mm from bump stops

Front Rear
Extended 120-180 105-150
Standard 95-150 85-130
Low 75-140 75-120
Access 50-110 50-100

calibration blocks are primarily designed for use with Test Book and are too time consuming
with Rovacom or other software which enables changes to be made "On the fly".
Here are the values from the wheel arch to the wheel CENTRE with front tyre pressure 28psi and rears 38psi,
car must be on firm level ground.

STANDARD height 470mm +/- 7mm

HIGH profile 510mm +/- 7mm

ACCESS height 405mm +/- 7mm

**LOW profile (Motorway) height is calculated by EAS ECU and cannot be modified.

That was quick!! What i have found is that the settings for each side (left-right) of the car are different. I take it they should be the same?

If by "settings" you mean the readings from the software, they are quite likely to be different. The only thing that matters is the actual wheel arch to wheel centre measurements. The different readings are caused by the height sensors being far from accurate.

On the other hand if by "settings" you mean the measured heights wheel arch to wheel centre then they should be adjusted the the figures given above by Nathan.

As said, write down the readings you start with and adjust each corner a little at a time because adjusting one corner affects the others:eek:

the settings are not settings as such, they are positions in relation to the two points on the height sensors. disregard what they say. they are not relevant for getting the car to the desired/correct height and level.

once you have the car to the level, copy the settings/readings into the bottom relevant boxes and press write!
