Where can I get dust caps in the correct size to cover the axle bolt or can some direct me to a "how to" make the LR 5 star steel wheel dust caps fit Modulars. Thanks

Ideally cut the centre out of a set of steel wheels the covers fit to then weld these on to the modulars (I'm doing something similar once i get a dust cap in my hand to see whats what).

Either.

Clamp co don't seem to have ones that will fit the Freelander.

Those second LR ones - do they fit straight onto the modular steelies, I think I read somewhere that they need modding...

I think he's talking about these:

3d printed?
What's the difference as to why they don't fit anyway? Looking a modulars myself, what does everyone else use to keep the hub nut clean?

I've got these and steelies myself and Id bet some gunk / silicone one the nut cover part will hold them on not ideal but should work, will tiewraps work on modulars I tried and failed with that on steels..?

I'm not sure how these 5-star ones fit - do they just slide onto the nuts?

No they clip into the wheel center with a circular sprung loaded bar, crap design should have fastened under one of the studs to secure...

I'm sure silicone or similar would do the job the to secure via the studs, or a simple hole in the side of the stud cover and a small screw tightened against the nut or 2 like lots of other things work..
