DSE Head gasket set

I'm doing the head gasket on my DSE, and I have one of these kits:



I'm not sure what the four red things are (in the bag with the valve stem oil seals). Can anyone enlighten me?

Seals are installed with valves in place in head (after they have been re ground). Push valve into head slight lube on stem. Put red plastic shield over stem and slide lubed stem oil seal over it, tap into place with a suitable tool. DO NOT remove valve again you will destroy oil seal.
