doico body/tree sliders ?

hi all disco offroad owners, i really like the body/tree sliders, not rock sliders you can get on a 90 <see link> just woundering if anybody has made or bought anythink similar for a discovery,

Why would you want aluminium ones, unless just for show?

Discos aren't flat.

i do like the look of them you can get steel 1s to for some vehicles

Not sure of the integrity of a Disco body at the corners, I'd be a bit wary that fitting a 'body slider' might cause more harm than it actually solves, Might be better with an external roll-cage. Problem is, a Disco is already wider than a Defender and adding much else width wise, even a couple of inches, would probably hinder me on some lanes in Wales and Yorkshire .. we already have to three-point turn enough as it is!

Can't recall seeing any on a Disco before, ever! It seems like a solution to a non-existing problem!

looks like a bit of 2x1 sawn cant see the point of that to be honest

My mate had some on his 90 I wunt have minded some for my disco but surely it wud b easy enuf to just make some if u realy wanted them.there only a bit of box with holes in
