Dissertation for Jaguar Land Rover - Seeking help

I am a MSc student at the University of Birmingham and currently conducting my dissertation for Jaguar Land Rover on parking issues in the UK.

You realise that the cars now have parking assist, go to dealership and ask you lazy student

Not sure why you feel so offended? I am sorry if I did something wrong...

First of all: I've been given this topic by Jaguar Land Rover themselves!

I know that cars have parking assist but "parking issues" relates to much more than just parking your car into a parking space. It could be the payment process in the parking lot or additional information about parking lots (e.g. Price, Size, Security etc.).

The problem with parking is to many cars, not enough parking spot. Maybe ask the local councils

I know, but Jaguar Land Rover wants to find out how it can improve your experience with their cars in this specific area. It could be for example autonomous parking or things like that. However, to find out more, I need to Interview some Land Rover Driver who are willing to share their experience, ideas and opinions in order to give recommendations to Jaguar Land Rover.

Dennis, chill mate!
That was prob one of the milder responses!
Im not in Brum area myself so prob cant help, but you could suggest to JLR that they add some sort of low ceiling sensor, some of the multi story parking garages, like the Red Cage have pretty low ceilings!

Thank you for your suggestions, I will consider them.
However, you don't need to be in or around Birmingham. A short interview over Skype or Phone would be more than perfect .

I think I phrase that a bit wrong. I meant that Interviews via Skype and telephone are possible wherever you are from, only the face to face interviews are limited to Birmingham.

Have you thought about an online survey via something like survey monkey think that's what it's called. More people are likely to spend a few mins filling it in at their own leisure rather than phone you just my 2p

An online survey is unfortunately not an option. That method would be more suited to validate the information I am going to find with my qualitative interviews.
I am still looking for participant here in the UK (not just Birmingham) and would be really thankful if you guys could help me with a short telephone interview.

Why don't you start a fresh thread on here listing the questions you need answers to. Hopefully those that want to help you will reply?
