Discovery Series 1 Workshop Manuals - choice

Hi all,

Just about to acquire a Discovery 300 tdi auto. I was wondering what everyone thinks about a workshop manual: is the Haynes adequate, or is it worth supplementing with the LR item too (or anything else for that matter).

All advice gratefully accepted!

I have had a haynes manuall for every car and bkie I have owned, I find them invaluable, factory manuals are fine but the assumption is the reader is factory or francise trained and makes referance to technical bulletines we do not have acess to stick with haynes and ask questions

LR workshop manual if you won't one, this covers most of what you need in a 300 series.
