Discovery chassis

Hello again all, I'm looking for some more advice! As some of you know I'm do a big repair on the disco! I am currently in the middle of patching the chassis up what is the best stuff to use to seal/prevent/protect from rust and any further corrosion? Is there a combination of things to use? Ie waxoyl then stone chip? What have you guys used of your Landys? Thanks

get all rust off then red oxide / undercoat then top coat / gloss paint ,you could under seal after but dont try underseal over waxoil as it wont stick !

waxoil inside chassis cavitys if you can get any in

I'd recommend Dinitrol over Waxoyl but that's a personal choice

It will depend on how long you are keeping it.
Me I would brush it down then red oxide the hammerite and then underseal.

gauge of metal for body n chassis ????

Quality street tin for body, roses tin for chassis.

I patched mine up with 2mm steel. I cut ust out made template n then slotted in n welded.good as new
