Disco TD5 MAP Files

Hi guys two things one i now own a nanocom evolution so if anyone needs a plug in just shout (newton abbot, exeter honiton )

2 nd my disco goes like stink and i can't work out why.. (I'm not complaining)
Have read map file with nanocom expecting to get a tuned map file but it isn't..its a standard map file.. how do i open these map files to have a look around? with some sort of editor or something?? I'm just really intrigued as to why my disco goes so fast

Hi Si, I'm not sure that you can open the fuel map files with Nano Evo. You can look at the functioning of all the sensors such as MAF, MAP etc but I don't think you will be able to read the fuel maps with specialist mapping software.

Hi Si
If it goes like stink, it's very probably been re-mapped.
I had mine done by Mike @ Dynachip & IIRC he put the new map inside the original map folder.
This means it's up to you if you declare it to your insurers, cos not many people can access the new map without the right software.
So anyone with a normal code reader will see the map file is the original.
