Disco Engines

I have a 1988 COUNTY 90 swb and i am looking to fit a new engine what i want to know would a Disco engine fit into it and if so what mods need to be done?

will it mate up to my county gearbox etc???

also what would be a fair price for L Reg 200 TDI Done 62000 miles from a Disco if any good?

Yes it will fit to your gear box.

But you may need to change the exhaust manfold and turbo ad the disco is in a diff possion to the defender.you may be able to make some adjustents tho but ive nerer tryed.

also you will obviousley need engine radatior intercooler all pipes and hoses derv filter housing exhaust front pipe ect ect

I dont know weather to just get a Landy 200 TDI engine or get a Disco engine ???

Also im on a budget so the least modifications i suppose the better ..

you need a defender 200tdi for faster fitment

a disco will need more bits swapping about
