Some advice please. When accelerating (overtaking on motorway), a plume of white smoke appeared from the exhaust pipes. When I took this into the dealer before, they kept the vehicle and exchanged the secondary turbo. Its now happened again. No loss of performance or other signs of fault. Any ideas?

I thought 'a plume of smoke every time you depress the pedal on the right' was a feature of all discos?

:behindsofa:

it s a feature of the old trac'or discos, but not the new ones - they mainly exhaust water, silk, cotton wool and hot air.

but you'll need a new DPF after 100k and that'll cost you a few grand...

It's a land rover that will happen!! Take it back in 6 months for another new turbo, they might of strengthened it by then.
It must be a design fault!!
They wont admit it so don't ask! They will re-design it and not tell anyone, bit like the heads on early TD5's
