I have a fault on my Disco 3 in that it will bring on the front left brake at about 10mph when I pull away together with the DSC lamp (flashing). If I let the accelerator off it will reset but then return when I press the accelerator again. This happens a few times then it throws a fault showing the suspension system lamp and the DSC lamp solid until I stop the engine and remove the key. On occasion it will clear then but sometimes the lamps stay on. I could live with the lamps but it goes into limp mode with VERY sluggish performance.
I have an error code that may be related, C1902 Ride Control REAR Shock Actuator Circuit Open.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you googled the code?
Could be something to do with the susp air control valves blocks, 1 for each axle and 1 more that control front to rear.

I did a search but all I found was the definition on many DTC lists. No explanation though.

What tool are you using to read codes?
The rear axle air susp valve block is on the passenger side of the vehicle behind the rear wheel, there is also a coople of large electrical plugs that the wires can chafe on the chsssis behind a plastic cover on top of the chassis rail.

I only have a generic scanner but it does have a specific profile for the Disco 3 2.7TDV6. All the local independent LR specialists are booked up for weeks so it is tricky to get any more info.
I now think at least part of the problem is the steering angle sensor. The collar on the column was loose so I have reattached that but now my scanner is saying there is no contact with the steering data bus. I also get random vehicle dynamics control module bus failures (U0122, U0416) but they go away in a few seconds.

This is potentially the steering angle sensor has come loose from the column. It's strange that the module doesn't show up.
