Disco 2 tyres what to get

Decided to give the disco a wash and noticed that I need 2 tyres soon 255/55/r18 what do people Recomend I don't go off road apart from the odd bit of grass / fields

yep i would recommend the 255/55/18 aswell

i would recommend to get rid of the 18" tires ASAP and fit some 16" ... u'll be amazed about the ride difference

When i bought my TD5 it had Cooper Zeon XSTs (not the XST-A) on the front and Fullrun HS299 on the rear and both seemed fine (255/55/18). I changed to General Grabber UHP all round. Coopers were quieter (although the grabbers are still pretty quiet on most surfaces) the grabbers seem a bit grippier in some situations on the road. Only done v light off road - grass/stony tracks etc.

The same tread pattern and manufactuer as the remaining tyres.

There seem to be a massive price difference eg Dunlop £80.00 each fullrun £86.00 upto £170 each

Got General Grabber UHP on mine and did the red route a Billing very well and I find them a good on-road tyre too!
