Hi all,

The faults are slowly coming through now daily on new ownership of my td5 but it's a land rover and you can't help but love it. And after years of 200 tdi' sand v8's I love the td5!!!!

As you can see in the below pics I have an oil leak and after much reading about the 3 seals that commonly go wrong I still can't work out exactly what is causing the leak based on where it's coming from?...

Also should there be a plug in this hole?

it could be torque converter to pump seal or pump o ring or like mine was loose bell housing bolts just needed a new gasket , all require box off and any works best done with box stood with bell housing up

Ok I thought as much, when you bell housing up? Keep it away from being damaged?

How long roughly to get the box out and how much of a **** without a ramp?

Once it's off is it worth doing all seals and replace bolts? Also thinking about a h/d torque converter from ashcrofts any thoughts?
