Disco 2 Gs Upgrade With Electric Seats

I've got a Series 2 GS model, and was wondering how easy it is to replace & upgrade front seats with heated seats. Is the electrics in place, where do the heated seat switches go? Do I just have to purchase the seats & switches from a scrappy, fit them, and jobs a good one. Hope someone can help. A desperate husband with a wife that likes her heat. Thanks Iain

It is quite simple to fit the Electric seats as most of the loom is in place,the heated seats will also be electricaly adjusted seats as well, the heated seat switches are in the same panel as the electric windows, However you will need some one with Diagnostic kit as the electric seats need activating in the BCU

I've just bought a leather interior for my S2 TD5, didn't realise it was electric n mine are manual. Is there nywhere I can get a diagram of the electrics for the front seats? Or some idea of how to get them working. I have the switches for the centre console and some of the loom from the other motor. Help would be apprciated a the rest of the seats re fitted just waiting for the front to be done. Cheers.

I have just purchased a full to upgrade from manual to electric and heated seats as the front ones needed replacing, i have the center console and switches apart from the 2 switches in the console behind the gear stick. How easy are they to fit. I am new to Land Rovers, any advice is appreciated.

Yes i have the looms, the upgrade seats and console were purchased from someone cutting a D2 complete. He had used the
2 switches for the heating feature that are located on the console behind the gear stick Istill need to get these.

Do you have a 5 way brown multiplug unconnected under each seat on the vehicle?...cos if you dont that part of the circuit which is for heater elements is missing and you'll have to rewire it

Hi yes the brown plugs are under the seats in the d2 already, thanks.
