hello, done a search and nothing recent come up for the question.

had a bummer of a weekend, took the kids out for a bbq at clumber park and ended up getting a flat tyre, got breakdown cover though and he came and blew up my spare and fitted it (bfg 225 75 16)

now on my disco i have 235 70 16 no name tyres fitted and they perished in the treads (another high five for the desert off road garage) well its one of these thats let go, i tried to plug the tyre today but with no joy.
the read pattern is more road style than off road but still did well on these off road.

so im looking for some cheapo tyres to fit,
seen these,
NEW WINTER RETREAD 4X4 KINGPIN ALL TERRAIN 105P 235/70/16 235/70R16 2357016 TYRE | eBay
are they any good??

or could someone recommend me some for around the same kind of money??

seen some cracking looking tyres on the bay but sadly not the kind of funds to buy them at the minute.....

thanks for your time in advance, gaz :eek:

FFS NOT another fooking tyre thread [smile]Do A Fooking Search[/smile]

i do apologise, i couldn`t find another thread asking about that particular brand of tyre i linked to.......

as i stated i did search beforehand but couldn`t find anything relevant to what i asked.

yes i do search before asking thanks for your input though :cool::cool:

thank you, i did the search purely on lz site.....

that opens it up a little, now one final thought, retreads or remoulds were always considered a bit hit and miss on cars, but fine for hgv`s so im guessing they would be fine for a disco??

remoulds are ok nowadays,it was years ago that re treads were dangerous as the tread was not adhered to the casing correctly.

thats what i was thinking, but found some insa turbo dakers from paddocks for £59 each, best thing is though only 30 mins from me so can collect too :D:D

again thanks to you both for your help, i do appreciate it.....:cool::cool:

well with your help i have bought and fitted today a pair of insa turbo dakar tyres, must admit, i was like a kid seeing them, there proper agressive tread patterns!!

so thats the front two fitted, just need to save up for the rear two now.......

also found that paddock is only 30 mins away from me, so will be spending more time out that way :rolleyes::rolleyes:
