my disco is m reg and think its still on original springs and shocks, its bouncy and is listing abit to one side. so time for new springs shocks and all new bushes, dont want to really lift it up so have been looking at the britpart heavy duty standard height suspension kit has any got these on there disco need to be strong as do a bit of towing car trailer and horse box. so any advice before i go mad with money will be fantastic.

I've got these springs and they are great. Get very good shockers though, I've got bilstein,s, or the ride will be harsh. I'm a window cleaner and have a 200 liter tank of water in the back of my disco and it copes with that no problem.
Mudynaty.

Eyup, got a 3.9 on ****part Heavy Dutys (from a large dealer) with admittedly cheap Armstrong shocks. Handles well but the back sits low and front high (They Are on the right ends!). Local independant says there are duff batches about. Seems right because i can bottom the rears out with only a moderate load in back, never mind an Ifor with a Shire x Percheron on tow!

Mine has std height HD shocks on, but because they don't drop as much as std there is an effective 'lift'.

Mostly for towing the caravan every 2 weeks or so, and work well, no issues at all, improved road handling to the detriment of offroading as they're not so supple, harsh ride wherever, but definitely the way to go for towing .. :).
