*** SOLD, THANKS ***

1995 (M) Discovery 1 300TDI - Metallic Blue
135k miles
Taxed til end of Jan 2012
MOT til mid-Feb 2012 (no advisories)

Good points:
Engine runs fine, starts first time
New drag link ends
Good tyres allround inc. spare
Recent Battery and Alternator (by previous owner)
Kenwood CD/Stereo
Central locking works

Bad Points:
Some delamination of back door lower edge, would benefit from being replaced
Has had welding done previously on boot floor and usual spots
Needs new external passenger door handle (alloy handle spilt), opens fine from inside
May require new clutch fork, if your lucky power bleeding the master/slave cylinder may work.

I bought this landy as a project, the lady who was selling it thought there was a gearbox problem as it was a bit tricky to get into 2nd. I don't think there is anything major wrong here and it was just the clutch had very little movement.

I used it for a couple of weeks then one morning came out to it and there was no movement in the clutch. I bought a replacement used master/slave cylinder from eBay but haven't been able to get the clutch working. So it is either the clutch fork or I haven't been able to bleed it correctly with a basic bleed kit. Due to this it is not drivable so would need to be towed/trailered.

I did the drag link ends, and have given it an oil/filter change, replaced axle oil and have the oil for transfer box and 5l of MTF for the Gearbox.

I am looking for £400, no offers. Have advertised elsewhere at £500/550 but £400 is what I want, I have turned down an offer of £300 from a garage. If I can't sell i'll either attempt the clutch myself or break for spares

Sorry for the delay.

I have taken photos. I'm fairly certain it is the clutch fork, this is the only major problem i'm aware of.

Other minor problems are, front passenger door handle split on outside, must be opened from inside, drivers side rear door doesn't seem to open on outside but everything feels ok. Rear door has some delamination and would ideally need to be replaced (ebay/breaker about £30), slight oil leak (common!). Has had some welding repairs but all solid. One key for doors, one for engine.

Good points, decent tyres all round, recent battery and alternator, engine starts first time, i've done oil/filter change and axle oil. Included is enough oil for transfer box and 5 litres of MTF-94 for the gearbox, also a new rocker cover gasket.

Central locking works, electric windows work on front, can be intermittent on back, expect it's a common dry joint problem.

Tax runs out this month, MOT mid-feb.

Priced to sell now at £350 no offers.
