Dim Dip -can I bin it

My 2000 (W plate) 110 CSW has all the wiring for dim dip lighting, as it was only required for a few years can I remove the whole lot and go for what was and is now normal. Looks like the relay\resistor is a bit dodgy as it only works intermittently. Removing it all is a better and cheaper option than fixing it - long as its legal and gets its MOT

Do it, it won't be a problem come MOT time.

Is that normal on a 2000 plate?

My Disco had it, removed the relay under the glovebox and all is dandy...I replaced my sidelights and headlights with fresh tinted bulbs and the dim dip made it look ****e hence its removal!
