1990 200TDI. On to my next problem, Still more to come;)
After trawling through loads of photos and posts on internet I think ive finally found the difflok switch, will find out tomorow in the daylight.Think I should be able to feel / reach for it from under the drivers floor panel.
Anyway fom the photos cant make out where the wires lead too some seem to just go straight into the side of transfer box, reason Im asking is trying to get the light on the dash to work, as its never worked yet.
Do the wires lead anywhere back up to the top or do they loop back to near where they come from????
Thanks

If it helps at all there's a multi plug behind the airbox that connects the engine loom to the bulkhead, I found on mine the plug had either corroded or been strained and the pin had half slipped out. Looked connected but wasn't making contact

Well found the switch, totaly knackered, so need a new one, there was only one wire which was the earth as it conected straight back to body, no sign of the other.
Anyone know what size nut it is to unscrew the switch out? and how the f**k do you get fit a spanner in there???
Thanks for help so far:)

switch prc2911 dont wind it in too far as it will jam diff lock selector fork ,just enough to work
Thanks, Sorry for all the qeistions, so I earth one wire and the other goes to the light, where excactly do I wire it beheind the dash, is there a certain couloured wire there??

that wire should come out through bulk head with other wires ,check at the connectors near clutch pedal box, feed from dash light through connector to switch is black/blue and earth just black as all earths
