Hi all, my air sensor is kaput so looking for another one. In the parts list for the Series II it has a 4.0L and a 4.6L one.

What is the difference between them and which would be best for my 2.5 TD5?

Also, does anyone know whether there were part modifications in the TD5 between when it first came out in 1998 and 2000 as I have found one advertised second hand from a T reg which would make it one of the earlier cars in the series?

Thanks

There are very few items I would say NEED to be original manufacturer parts but Maf's really must be !!

Why do I say this? Because we have two TD5's and I was looking the other day at their Maf's - one was original with proper thin film technology the other was a mock up with soldered-in resisters. Guess which one worked best???

I swapped the two mafs between the two cars and guess what, the original maf gave best results in both motors !!
