Is that the same for engine oil aswell?

Yep, I use 5W40 full synthetic in my diesel, saves a bit on fuel in winter and spins over easily in the cold. Wammers thinks it's a waste of cash, but I think the extra protection is worth the cost. I keep my service intervals to 6K or less if it's been working hard towing.

Money to burn. :D:D:D

Theyre not council workers emptying the bins
That's Spain's unemployed and homeless looking for
something to eat and a place to sleep.

Fuel maybe cheaper, but the general cost
of living I think is higher than the UK.

No way, cheaper fuel, no road tax, 4 houses here cost me less in rates than the one little one I had in the UK, TV licence half the UK price, income tax as a retiree for me is 4.7% against 20% in the UK personal allowance similar, food is up and down in price but over the last 12 years has generally worked out cheaper than the UK but that depends on what you eat of course, junk food is expensive and of course if you like a beer or a glass or three of vino it's much cheaper than the UK even the electricity is cheaper these days:p:D
For an employer, tax and social contributions are much higher than the UK, not my problem though.

I stand corrected. I was only going on shopping eating out.
and the cost of tolls on the motorway.

You don't have to use the autoroutes, the Nationals are pretty good and not busy and of course there is no road tax which compensates. In the UK you have Toll roads/bridges/tunnels and still get screwed for road tax:p;)

Not surprised the TV licence is cheaper, all the programmes are in Frog and you can't understand a bloody word. :D:D:D

French keyboard layout is rubbish.

The French do not understand IPA.

The French do not understand cricket.

Pétanque is an admission that growing grass is a skill too far.

Roland Garros hasn't got a roof and the clay is ugly.

Other than that you probably win.

G~

PS - I'd hate to travel to Paris just to get Old Holborn.
