Diff lock stuck?

The Hi/low selector is the lever with the rubber gaiter around it in the photo, the diff lock linkage is the linkage on the right (as you're looking at it) of the lever, on the side of the gearbox.

Low to high doesn't matter. What I do is clutch and put it neutral, then clutch again and into high.

I've had to do this while moving last week as when towing my drif car, the gearbox sh!t itself so only had 4th. So had to start off in low 4th and switch to high 4th while moving.

Ok, I have got the shroud off and cleaned it up, wd40'ed it etc. Still nothing.

A bit of further information may be required as I mistook the problem slightly.... It is stuck in High gear, but will select diff lock High. However, the stick will NOT move forward (towards engine bay) in either diff lock or non-diff lock. It won't select N or Low.
