Good site that, thank you very much indeed!! only thing i couldnt see is where you can disconnect the rods or how/ where to unseize the diff lock

PS- THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND PATIENCE !

In the last pic(with some red tape)-the four bolts are NW,NE,SE,SW-the linkage disconnects on RHS-The rod which is about 1/2" diameter-needs to be able to slide easily from, right to left-you can just see a witness of the rod on the lhs-when difflock is selected this rod will be out of the housing about 1/2"-remove whole housing to free off-It will all become clear when you are in there

Not wanting to sound like a "Chump"... but I might  ... I can't shift my transfer lever from the right to the left to engage Diff Lock either... it won't budge at all... someone told me that diff lock was removed on all models after a certain year, but I'm convinced mine should have diff lock because it has the stickers which indicate the position of diff lock in front of the transfer lever.... Just wondering if yours is the same ???

Yes the difflock was deleted on some of the D2's, the mechanism was in the box but not connected up top.

As yours has the sticker to show where difflock is then that suggests you have it but its siezed.

Just for info. There are some useful pictures and descriptions of how to `unfreeze' the diff lock in the LRO magaizine December 2010 - if you know of anyone who takes the mag.
