Afternoon all,
no doubt like many of us, my landy has been sitting doing nothing for lockdown. i've been starting it just to keep the battery up. I took it out today, and the diff lock light is flickering, then on, then off, then flickering again, on the dashboard. It's not in diff lock. I've tried doing the "okey cokey" with it, and reversing for some distance, but to no avail. Has anyone got any ideas please?

Cheers,
Clive.

Maybe a mouse has nested on top of the box during the lockdown.;) You never know, on a tractor that had not been used for a while a wagtail had nested on top of the battery.:)

The plunger switch on the transfer box is apt to be unreliable. The trouble is it is hard to get at unless you take the transmission tunnel off. But it's well worth doing for the satisfaction you get from having fitted a new one.
