diesel landrover

at the mo im running a 1.8i petrol freelander , my wife tends to drive it when ever she can using up fuel , im looking to get a diesel replacement , which is there best mpg between a freelander and a disco as the landy primary roll is family transport

thers a lot more chavness with a disco

if you want a car to carry a couple of kids about a freelander might do.

if you want to tow 3.5 tonnes , or carry a load of stuff the disco is far more capable as a go anywhere workhorse

dunno what a diesel freelander does but the old diesel discos will top 30 mpg whilst working for a living.
