Can anyone tell me how much diesel should be spraying out of my injector lines? i fitted the new solenoid and now there is some fuel coming through but not alot. is this normal or should there be a lot when its cranked over. want to try every avenue before a new pump. cheers all

It is only a matter of drips at the injector with it disconnected, this turns into spray at high pressure-unusual for injector pump to fail

i cant see what else it could be :scratching_chin: lines are clear, new lift pump new solenoid, lots of fuel to the filter and to the injector pump inlet line.

Have you checked the FIP timing is still correct (in case it has jumped a tooth or slipped, you can also check cam timing but that is more involved as it means removing timing cover.

Hi,
Suggest that you test the heater plugs if not already done. Is there smoke coming out of exhaust when you try to start? Also have you interfered with the fuel pump throttle plate at all? The plate is splined onto the pump main throttle control and connects to the accelerator cable, it must go back in the correct position or the pump will not provide enough fuel.
