passed a garage with diesel at 89.9, only to find it had been closed for years.
ah well with doozle prices as mad as thems aren now, who pays the most ? , were on 129.9 here in stafford, working down worcester there on 131.9 last week?
any higher sightings?
any one with an interesting weekly consumption? am on about £80.00 with a 90 pickup and sankey trailer. :-(

Diesel is 'only' 1.10 a liter here in denmark, however as i drive 100 miles a day my fuel bill for june was 487 pound...good grief charlie brown...
I have now been forced, despite many months of fighting it, to buy a monthly train pass for 140 pound, a saving of nearly 350 a month.
I must admit the journey is a little quicker by train and i can admire the scandinavian ladies, I am desperatly trying to find positives in my decision, i'm not contributing to oil company profits, government taxes etc and i can use the money to really kit the landy out for the times i do drive it and really appreciate it.....
Whether I will feel the same waiting for the train in mid-winter is another question, however they do run on time here which can only be good. And if the price of fuel rises as expected i will soon be saving 500 a month, which as my grandmother would say, is a sh*tload of dosh....
Still miss sausages and mothers pride bread though...Mark

ah no probs mate, working up western downs tomorrow, got to weld some gates, bloody small world, live in rowley park me self

oil has continually held its position at 140 dollars a barrel now, expect 1.40 pounds at the pumps very soon. some pessimistic speculators are betting 200 dollars a barrel by the end of the year, the optimistic are saying 170 a barrel by the end of the year. whoever is right, we lose:mad:

Our local garridj is now £1.42 and Thrifty charged me £1.55 yesterday for diesel.

"Expect £1.40"...is it on the way back down???
