While following how to eas, I removed the exhaust filter while the pump was running. Air was escaping, and when I plugged the hole with my finger, after a couple of seconds no more air escape and suspension rose normally.but the problem reoccurs every time I re start the range, I'm going to change the diaphragm tomorrow, but it was only renewed in December, could it be something else ? Answers appreciated and tolerated . Ta

How long does the compressor run for when you start up? You may have a leak from the storage side. Diaphragm relies on pressure from the tank to seal the exhaust. The spring under it gives a seal until sufficient pressure builds in the system to properly seal it. Diaphragm will always leak slightly if tank has lost pressure until pressure under it builds to overcome pressure from compressor. However taking a look at it will do no harm. They have been know to have debris stopping them from sealing.
