Hi all

Got my 1995 Defender 90 delivered tonight and contacted Admiral to add it to my multicar policy...however, after much discussion they announced that they don't insure 90's and will only insure the 110. Seems bizarre but I guess it is what it is.

I've seen a lot of complaints about Adrian Flux on here, but those of you that own 90's, who do you use?

Cheers

I would maybe have another conversation with Admiral - they are usually very good, maybe you just got the wrong person on the end of the phone.
Even if they won`t put it on multicar ask them if they will quote individually, it won`t be as competitive but will give you a reasonable benchmark to test some others.
Then find a decent broker and phone them up, the internet is not that useful in my experience for any car remotely out of the ordinary, you need to talk to real people

I was using Admiral Multicar until December when it went on the company policy. They were very good on price with multicar, but the mrs quote to stay with them for her's once i'd left was ridiculous!

I've said it before on here but insurers have targets to hit. What's cheap for someone one month may not be the next. Shop around would be my advice!
